Materiality and the Tomoku Group’s Initiatives
Through its Packaging Business, which features highly recyclable and resource-efficient corrugated packaging, and its Housing Business, which features highly airtight and highly insulated homes with excellent energy efficiency, the Tomoku Group conducts business with due consideration for environmental impact. The Group views environmental and social issues as both risks and opportunities and aims to achieve sustainable growth by balancing corporate value with environmental and social value.
The Group has identified the following 12 material issues based on their impact on all stakeholders and on the Tomoku Group. For each material issue, the Group has clarified the associated risks and opportunities and is advancing related initiatives.
