Climate Change Response
Through the proactive adoption of renewable energy, efficiency improvements, process improvements, and other measures, the Group will reduce its total greenhouse gas emissions for Scope 1 and 2 by 50% compared with 2013 levels.

In addition to promoting reductions in Scope 1 and 2 emissions, the Group has established a reduction target for the Housing Business, where Scope 3 Category 11, “Use of Sold Products,” accounts for a large share of value chain emissions.
Through the introduction of energy-efficient equipment, renewable energy, and other measures, the Group will reduce primary energy consumption during occupancy by 50% on a CO₂-equivalent basis compared with Japan’s 2016 Energy Conservation Standards.
