We will use our environmental management system to raise environmental awareness among all Group employees and promote environmentally responsible management. We will also set environmental objectives and targets and regularly review progress toward their achievement.

We will strive to conserve resources and water*and improve energy efficiency at every stage of our business operations. To address climate change, we will actively introduce renewable energy and energy-efficient equipment and improve productivity. We will also work to recuce waste, promote recycling, and properly manage chemical substances.
Water Conservation
Reducing water use and managing water resources are important global issues. In the Packaging Business, water is used in production processes such as boiler operation, glue preparation, and ink cleaning. Water is drawn from multiple sources, and wastewater is treated in accordance with national and local regulations before being discharged into sewage systems or rivers.
