in place to meet a wide range
of customer needs.

Terutaka Fukazawa President & COO

Founded in 1940, Tomoku was incorporated in Hokkaido in 1949 as a manufacturer of wooden boxes for canned goods. The Company later transitioned to the Packaging Businesses and expanded its operations throughout Japan. In Japan, centered on the Kanto region, we have built a nationwide network covering nearly the entire country, from Hokkaido to Kyushu, enabling us to respond promptly to a wide range of customer needs. Overseas, we have wholly owned subsidiaries on the U.S. West Coast (Los Angeles) and in Vietnam (Binh Duong Province), allowing us to provide our customers’ overseas operations with the same product supply structure as in Japan.

In 1984, Tomoku entered the business of importing and selling Swedish wooden panel homes. Since then, we have steadily expanded this business by drawing on our experience in working with wood, the production control technologies cultivated through our corrugated board operations, and the expertise we developed in Hokkaido’s cold climate. Today, with Hus AB in Sweden producing housing components and Sweden House Co., Ltd. in Japan handling sales and construction, we have established an integrated system spanning manufacturing, sales, and construction that ensures a stable supply of our products. The Sweden House brand is now widely recognized for its high quality and high performance, and its warm, healthy homes continue to earn high praise from customers.

Our Transportation and Logistics Business grew out of the delivery functions for our products. We have strengthened our operating structure through the promotion of IT and the expansion of our logistics centers, and, as a key link in the supply chain, have earned the trust of our customers as a logistics partner delivering safe, high-quality services.

The Group also has a Trading Business that handles containerboard, housing materials, and other products. We aim to provide comprehensive services that cover not only products themselves, but also the value-added services that accompany them.

In Japan, the recycling rate for corrugated board, our core product, has already reached nearly 100%. Sweden House also makes a significant contribution to reducing residential energy consumption and CO2 emissions through its highly airtight, highly insulated homes.

The Transportation and Logistics Businesses is also actively working to promote energy-efficient operations and eco-driving through its vehicle operation management system.

Guided by the motto, “Supporting Business and Daily Life in an Environmentally Friendly Way,” the Tomoku Group seeks to earn the trust of its customers by providing safe, high-quality, value-added products and services. We also regard it as a core management principle that the results of these corporate activities should, together with the development of society, lead to an increase in corporate value over the long term.

We would like to ask for the continued support of our customers and shareholders.

June 2026
