Quality and Environmental Certifications
Tatebayashi Works
Tomoku has obtained ISO 9001 certification for its Head Office, certified on September 13, 2004; Atsugi Works, certified on September 13, 2004; and Tomoku Vietnam, certified on February 4, 2016. Tomoku has also obtained ISO 14001 certification for Tatebayashi Works, certified on October 25, 2002; Osaka Works, certified on March 19, 2004; and Nagano Works, certified on November 13, 2017.
Tomoku has established and operates a quality management system to enhance customer satisfaction through continuous quality improvement. At the same time, in alignment with the Group’s Environmental Policy and environmental objectives, the Company is committed to improving its environmental performance and protecting the environment.
CASBEE A Rank Certification
Kobe Works
On February 15, 2016, Kobe Works obtained CASBEE A Rank certification. CASBEE is a system for evaluating and rating the environmental performance of buildings, with five ranking levels ranging from the highest, S Rank, downward. Tomoku was the first company in Japan to obtain an A Rank for a corrugated board plant. In addition, Southland Box in the United States obtained certification under the AIB International Consolidated Standards for Inspection on October 2, 2018.
Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) Certification
Tomoku obtained FSC® Chain of Custody (CoC) certification in July 2016.
FSC® CoC certification is a system that certifies that timber harvested from FSC®-certified forests is properly managed and processed in accordance with certification standards. The certification mark serves as proof that a company practices responsible forest management.
Tomoku is actively engaged in protecting valuable forest resources and reducing its environmental impact. The Company provides safe, reliable, and environmentally friendly products bearing the certification mark.

Tomoku is a Sedex Supplier Member and is committed to responsible and sustainable business practices. By using Sedex’s tools and services, the Company is working to improve its responsible business practices.
Responding to CDP
Since 2014, Tomoku has disclosed environmental information through CDP.*In 2025, the Company again responded to the integrated questionnaire covering climate change, forests, and water security. By disclosing its environmental impacts through the CDP questionnaire, Tomoku aims to enhance environmental transparency and help realize a sustainable society.
