December 1940 Established as Hokkai Canning and Drying Co., Ltd.
May 1949 Changed trade name to Toyo Wood Products Co., Ltd. and commenced the manufacture and sale of wooden boxes for canned goods (inauguration of the business)
January 1956 Inaugurated Otaru Paper Container Works and commenced the manufacture and sales of Corrugated Packaging boxes
