December 1940 Established as Hokkai Canning and Drying Co., Ltd.
May 1949 Changed trade name to Toyo Wood Products Co., Ltd. and commenced the manufacture and sale of wooden boxes for canned goods (inauguration of the business)

April 1998 Purchased folding carton business from Kyoshinsha Co., Ltd. and inaugurated Chiba Folding Carton Works
May 2000 Acquired Sendai Shiki Kogyo Co., Ltd. as a consolidated subsidiary through the acquisition of shares.
